Using This Venue

We are stoked that you love our space! The Salon Des Bananes has become popular in our community, and we receive regular inquires about using this space for various event, shows, meetings and more. If you are interested in using our space for an idea you have, please follow the instructions below. Note that we will not except inquiries sent by email.

Submit A Proposal

Since the Salon Des Bananes is part of the in-house artist's work space, the gallery isn't always available for use by people or organizations other than Rich Loen. That said, the Salon Des Bananes is delighted to accommodate events if and when possible, which is why we ask that you please submit a proposal for our consideration. Note that a pricing estimate will also accompany our response as we do not have standard rates. Please also note that only successful submissions will be contacted, so please do not try to follow up by other modes of communication if you do not hear back from us. We will evaluate submissions on a rolling basis and can take up to a month or more to make decisions for use of the gallery as a venue space as we may have other priorities to accommodate.

Please provide us with an executive summary of the proposed event, and explain why you wish to host it at the Salon Des Bananes. Your proposal should not exceed 500 max.

Who does Salon Des Bananes typically allow to use the gallery as a venue space?

The Salon Des Bananes is privately owned and operated by artist Rich Loen. The gallery is part his work space and is often occupied with his various projects. People and organizations hoping to use the gallery would be selected mostly based on scheduling (i.e. is possible for the gallery to be made available during that time). Other considerations may include the connection the event has to arts community, and how well established the event already is (i.e. are they well positioned to manage the event independently).

How often does the Salon Des Bananes allow other events or meetings to take place in the gallery?

Since the gallery is a relatively new space, we do not yet have a standard for how often events or meetings will be able to take place here. For now we are accepting proposals, and will work with people and organizations if and when possible for us to accommodate it.

How much does it cost to use the Salon Des Bananes gallery space?

As of right now, we do not have standard rates for use of the gallery as a venue for events or meetings. We will do our best to accommodate people and organizations fairly, if and where possible.
